Lot Description  

Large c. 1917 pitching action photograph of good pitcher, Guy Morton from the Cleveland Indians. A bold work of prewar baseball photography, this is the work of Charles Conlon and is the only image of Morton from the lens of Conlon we have ever seen. Despite a bit of corner chipping from news room handling, the image presents well.
