1912 Incredible and clear action photograph of the second game of the World Series at the brand new Fenway Park in Boston. There is so much going on in this photo, but the highlight has to be the inclusion of Hall of Fame pitcher Christy Mathewson clearly visible in front of the mound and watching the play unfold. The game would go to extra innings and Mathewson would pitch all eleven innings in a tie. This game has gone down in history as one of the best of all time in a World Series and this is the only image from this game we have ever seen! Crystal clarity and in nice shape overall, this is truly as good as baseball photography gets from 1912!
