Large 1910 team photograph of the American League champion Athletics who would also win the World Series, cementing their place as the best team in all of baseball. Taken along the outfield wall at Shibe Park, the image captures 23 players as well as the batboy and manager Connie Mack. The players are all wearing their warm-up jackets meaning it was either early or late in the season. Highlighted by Hall of Famers Eddie Plank, Chief Bender and Home Run Baker, this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen! Despite a crease at the center and some artistic painting from editorial use in a newspaper, the nearly panoramic specimen presents really well! An underrated dynasty from the earliest days of the baseball, this is an exciting and potentially unique new discovery.
