1955 Original photo of a young Hank Aaron in uniform with the Milwaukee Braves from early in his career and showing his fielding prowess as an infielder (before the start of the 1955 season). The Braves issued this style of photo between 1954-56 but we feel very confident in our 1955 date (this is stamped from spring training 1956 which means it was already on file before before the season started, thus a 1955 photograph at the latest)! This is one of the finest images of Aaron that has ever been offered as it shows the youngster as he made the transition from infield to outfield. He is listed as an outfielder on the photo, but is clearly wearing a smaller infielders mitt here and shown making a jump through like you would as a middle infielder! The quality of the image is perfect and this is one of his greatest photos ever taken of the underrated superstar. We recognize there are more important images of Aaron out there (baseball card photos etc.) but in our opinion, this is his finest photograph from a purely aesthetic aspect that exists!
