1936 Large posed action photograph of New York Yankees rookie Joe DiMaggio at the ballpark. Issued by famous New York photographer William C. Greene and the back bears his earliest stamp we have seen. Crystal clear and bold, this shows a youthful DiMaggio faking a throw and holding it for the photographer which is sort of an amazing and slightly corny throwback to the days of the Old Judge baseball cards. Despite a slight crease and some light corner wear, this presents beautifully. Fully encapsulated by PSA as a "Type 1", this also comes with a full letter. One of the best rookie DiMaggio images we have ever handled.
