Lot Description  

1914 Double weight portrait photograph of Boston Braves pitcher George "Iron" Davis in uniform and taken the year the won the World Series and pitched a no-hitter along the way. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is his finest image we have ever seen and it presents beautifully.
