1909 Posed action photograph of star infielder Tommie Leach of the Pittsburgh Pirates and showing his form at third base for the World Champions! Stamped on the back by early baseball photographer J.R. Schmidt of Cincinnati, this is a likely unique image that is a new discovery pulled directly from a newspaper archive and offered here for the first time ever. Quality images of Leach are tough to find and this one is as good as they come. Photo has a couple creases on the lower corners but it presents pretty well.
