The 1968 all-star game was one of the greatest of all time. Pitching dominated the contest as it did the entire decade, with Hall of Famer Willie Mays scoring the only run of the game. The offered new discovery from the Houston Post, was taken by a local photographer at the Astrodome (where the game took place) and is being offered here for the first time ever shows Mays moving into scoring position shortly before scoring. For the Mays collector who thought he had everything, this is the only image from this game we have ever sold.
