1939 Important photograph of the New York Yankees sluggers as they pose before the start of the third game of the World Series. While they were missing their most important piece, Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig who was forced to retire earlier in the season, the lineup was stacked with Joe DiMaggio leading the pack. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the image comes with a letter from PSA cementing this as a "Type 1" as well. Condition and quality are both outstanding.
