Large 1912 action photograph from the eighth and final game of the World Series between the Red Sox and Giants which was won by Boston 3-2 in extra innings. This would go down in history as the Fred Snodgrass "muff" game in which his misplay would cost the Giants the title. Images from this game are exceptionally rare with this being one of only a handful we have ever seen. Issued by the American Press Association and stamped on the back with some chipping being the only flaw.
