One of the most iconic football cards of the 20th century and arguably the most important of the era is the 1966 Philadelphia Gum Company rookie card of Bears star Gale Sayers. A card that transcends the sport, the pose was bold for the time as Sayers strikes the classic Heisman pose for the camera. Issued by the Chicago Bears team, these were blank backed and sent to newspapers and magazines.
