Lot Description  

1961 Photograph of members of the Boston Red Sox watching hume run number 33 off the bat of Roger Maris sail into the seats during his record breaking season in which he caught Babe Ruth and became the greatest home run hitter of all time. Taken by photographer Frank Hurley of the New York Daily News and with a huge paper caption on the back, this is a cool piece from the greatest home run chase of all time!
