Large and beautiful c. 1925 portrait photograph of young New York Yankees Hall of Fame pitcher Waite Hoyt in uniform at the ballpark. The photo has a great Charles Conlon look and feel to it despite being issued by the International News and stamped on the back. Photo is crystal clear and bold with some artistic framing and a few small spots of wear on the front near the buttons of his uniform. One of his finest early images we have ever handled.
