On opening day 1925, Walter Johnson was a defending World Champion for the first time in his career. He was the toast of the game and when he met the Yankees at the relatively new Yankee Stadium, even the owner Jacob Ruppert wanted his picture taken with Johnson. A beautiful image in great shape from Underwood and Underwood, this has a full paper caption and stamp on the back.
