The toughest photos to find are not Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb, but the guys who made an impact on the game but were only around for a short time. Enter Joseph Jenkins, a part time player for three seasons, he etched his name into he record books by being a member of the famed 1919 White Sox. An impossible player to find quality images of, this one was taken by photographer Charles Conlon and with his handwritten notes on the back. We have handled one other action photograph of Jenkins but this is the first portrait photo of the player we have ever seen and the fact that it is a Conlon is not too bad!
