Absolutely incredible 1936 photograph of Amelia Earhart at the Waldorf Astoria hotel at a dinner that was being held to cement relationships with the volatile Nazi regime and Americans and the situation was honoring the new airship HINDENBURG! Taken about a year before both the ship and Earhart would perish (both in 1937) this is a poignant image with so many tragic overtones to the doom of Earhart, the tragedy of the Hindenburg and the Nazi regime! Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. One of the most interesting images of Earhart we have ever handled!
