Stunning and unique 1920 batting action photograph of Babe Ruth of the Yankees watching one sail into the seats after a monster swing! Artfully die-cut and glued to art-board for enhancements and cool notes for publication, this is a news-service photo (vintage 1) that has been turned into an incredible and unique piece of early sports newspaper art! The photo is crystal clear and part of it can be peeled away so it can be authenticated by PSA if you wish. There is a small rip by Ruth's knee and it is slightly come apart at the bat handle but overall it displays great. Newspaper art of Ruth alone is valuable and this one is the best of both worlds! One of the better Ruth images we have ever seen from early in his career. This is clearly a VERY young Ruth from his first year or two in New York and the Yankees only wore solid socks in 1920, switching to black and white in 1921!
