1932 Photograph of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig from the New York Yankees both with bats in hand, waiting for their turn at the plate and planning their attack against the Chicago White Sox. A unique new discovery from the Chicago Tribune, this has a full photographers credit sheet on the back with notes from the man who took the image (Wilkins) and he describes it as "Lou Gehrig Yankee 1st baseman and Babe Ruth wait their turn at bat in 1st inning of White Sox Yankee game." Despite a chip on the upper left corner, the photo displays in great shape and it is being offered here for the first time ever! One of the better photographs of the duo together we have ever seen and offered here for the first time ever!
