1928 Action photo by photographer Charles Conlon of a little known utility infielder for the New York Yankees named Leo Durocher. He would make a name for himself over the next 15 years as a major leaguer mostly through his defense, but it was his career as a manager after this that would make Durocher one of the games most enduring personalities. One of the earliest and best images of Durocher we have ever seen and it was issued through Underwood and Underwood during the short period where Conlon and Underwood had a working relationship. Easily one of the best images of Durocher that exists!
