Large 1930's double weight batting photograph of Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig from the New York Yankees waiting for the pitch. A fantastic work of art from one of the top photographers of the era, this is bold and clean with some light creasing being the only flaw. The photo has been signed (secretarially by Gehrig's wife) and this can be removed if the new owner desires. Stamped on the back by Burke, this comes with a full letter of authenticity from PSA (Type 1) and it represents one of the few known Gehrig Burke photos we have ever handled.
