c. 1927 Silver gelatin original photograph of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig from early in his career. You can see the youth and power in Gehrig's face and although the image is unmarked by the photographer, it is clearly original by the paper and silver gelatin finish. Stamped later when the image was acquired by the Culver News Service, it presents well and is guaranteed to be an original from the late 1920's.
