Original 1922 golf photograph of Chandler Egan driving off the tee. He was an early American golf star winning the U.S. Amateur in 1904 before he disappeared, and then nearly a decade later reemerged in Oregon where he designed and built many great courses on the West Coast. This is one of the only original images of Egan we have ever seen, pulled from a West Coast newspaper archive and offered here for the first time ever!
