1916 Horizontal action photograph of Heavyweight Champion of the World Jess Willard defending his title for the first time since winning it against Jack Johnson the year previous. A rare action photo by Paul Thompson and stamped on the back, this is the only image from this fight we have ever seen as indoor boxing matches were tough to photograph back in the day. Condition would be pretty nice but for a corner chip and some wear at the bottom and the image quality is pretty good.
