1969 Action photograph of young up and coming catcher Johnny Bench working out at the ballpark in uniform. Taken from early in his career, it would be another season before he really broke through with one of the best seasons offensively ever put together by a catcher. Stamped on the back by Jack Klumpe of the Cincinnati Post and this is one of his better early images we have handled.
