1949 Photograph of baseball pioneer and Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson as he spoke before the House Un-American Activities Committee on blacks and their unequal treatment. A touching and important photo of Robinson by noted photographer Al Muto. Photo has a couple of really minor corner creases but overall it is an attractive specimen. The significance of this photo can not be overstated as Jackie is more responsible than perhaps anyone in the country for bringing the Civil Rights movement to the forefront of consciousness!
