1947 Portrait style photo of young Brooklyn Dodgers rookie Jackie Robinson as he was set to make his major league debut. An important image with one of the more detailed and significant paper captions we have ever seen talking about what Robinson hoped to do WHEN he broke the color barrier. Identified on the bottom as being from photographers Hugh Broderick and Arthur Sasse (this was a two photo set) we believe that Sasse took this particular image. An important photo from arguable the most significant day in baseball history with this being the only known specimen!
