One of the greatest assemblages of talent to ever be captured in a group photo, this is a 1937 photograph before the start of the World Series between the Giants and Yankees with four of the players fighting for "first-ups". The Giants sent Mel Ott and Joe Moore up as captains while the Yankees representatives were a couple of guys named Joe DiMaggio and Lou Gehrig! A beautiful image from the International News, the photo is clean and clear and the condition is nice with note to small pinholes at the corners. One of the best group shots ever taken and capturing a changing of the guard in New York!
