Vintage c. 1926 early photograph of young Lou Gehrig in action manning first base for the New York Yankees and making the play at Yankee Stadium. Issued by Pacific and Atlantic and stamped on the back with their mid 1920's version, the figure of Gehrig dominates the image and presents beautifully as one of the finest early action photographs of Gehrig we have seen. Photo has some creasing and wear but the quality is nice.
