Large 1921 pitching action photograph of Earl "Ollie" Hanson. At the time this image was taken, he was working out with the Cubs during spring training, but he would not make the team for another four years! When he finally did make the squad, he was pretty terrible and only pitched in two games. So rare are images of Hanson that even Baseballreference.com only has a grainy newspaper etching to show the world what this man looked like! Here is an exciting new discovery that clearly pictures one of the rarest pitchers of his era to ever play major league baseball and it is being offered here for the first time ever!
