By early 1963 the Beatles had gone from playing small clubs in England to a following that had spread outside their own country. They had released their first LP and people were taking notice. The tours became a little longer and the venues a little further from home. Some were even hinting that a "few people" in the United States and Asia were listening to their songs! With all this excitement and popularity, the boys started to hone in on their look with a major part being a uniform formal attire and no more jeans and t-shirts. Although not dated, this 1963 example is from early in their career and with the four young men showing an innocence that was rarely captured by photographers. Slabbed by PSA as a "Type 1" this is a high grade example that is among their best we have offered.
