The 1910 photograph of Ty Cobb sliding into third base by Charles Conlon is the most important sports photograph ever taken and it ushered in a new era of sports action photography. We discovered the only known original "Type 1" and sold it in 2015, and this photo recently changed hands for $250,000! While the example here is not that, it is one of the next best options in the hobby. Issued in the 1930's and off a duplicate negative (because the original glass plate was cracked) this one has a PSA letter solidifying this is one of the oldest examples known to exist. Clean and clear, this is a museum quality relic and one of the best out there unless you win the lottery!
