What would the world be like today had Red Grange never gone out for football at the University of Illinois? He almost walked away when he saw the number of young men trying out, but forced himself to try and he literally changed everything by ushering in the era of Professional Football which now dominates the sporting landscape. Everything in the world is a little bit different because of him! Incredible 1925 photograph of the great Red Grange on the verge of changing the world by Underwood and Underwood, taken as he touched the ball for the first time in 1925 (the year he would change the world). A tremendous specimen and in nice shape with a full paper caption on the back and one lone pinhole.
