Ricardo Torres is a forgotten pioneer in baseball as one of the first Cuban's to make a big league roster. He played in a grand total of 22 games over three seasons and as such images of this ground breaking player are tough to find with this being the only image we have ever seen offered publicly. After his short stint in the big leagues, he went back and played in Cuba for the rest of his career but his son Gilbert would become a star! This is a fantastic large batting photo that is being offered here for the first time ever, issued through NEA and with the date on the back as well.
