Unique 1918 photograph of Nemo Leibold from the Chicago White Sox demonstrating his batting form for the camera during spring training. He was an integral part of the World Series of 1919 as one of the "clean Sox" he was an honest player amid the torrid gambling and fixing of games from his teammates. Photo is a bold example issued by NEA and stamped on the back, this is almost certainly unique and is being offered here for the first time ever. Those cars in the background would have most likely been owned by the White Sox players making one wonder if one of those was Joe Jackson's!
