When Al Capone finally was sentenced to Federal Prison in Atlanta, he was forced to pose for mug-shots and have his fingerprints taken. The result was this card photographed for publication to be published in newspapers. It would be front page news across the world and nobody could enough of the stories of his crimes and capture. With the gangster era finally coming to an end, Capone in jail was the ultimate symbol of success for good over evil. Now if they could just get that Dillinger guy! The offered image is dated on the back and the condition is outstanding!
