Large 1931 photograph of professor Albert Einstein and his wife as they were given a send-off by prominent Jewish members of New York society before he returned home to Germany. One of the few images of Einstein all dressed up in formal attire, this is an important piece of photography as it would be less than two years later Einstein would be on the run from the Nazi regime and ultimately back in America! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this photo presents well with a few corner creases being the only flaws.
