1949 Photograph of Hall of Famer and Civil Rights pioneer Jackie Robinson as he was ejected from a game with the St. Louis Cardinals after making a gesture toward the umpire which he did not approve of! 1949 Represented the time when Robinson was finally allowed to fight back and fight he did! While this is stamped and has a paper caption as well, it appears this is a slightly later re-strike but it presents here in great condition!
