In 1951 Bobby Thomson of the Giants drove a dagger through the hearts of the Brooklyn Dodgers when his homer single handedly beat the "Bums" at the Polo Grounds in what has gone down in history as "The Shot Heard Round the World." Five years later, Duke Snider and Gil Hodges get some revenge in this photo as they ceremonially take bats to Thomson's throat! A fun photo that we have never seen before presenting here in great shape.
