Lot Description  

Original 1944 All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) "League of their own" photo. Image is about 8X6 inches and has date and paper caption on the back. Pictured is Ken Sells President of the League, and players from four different teams showing off their uniforms. Helen Nicol, Mary Nesbitt, Doris Bach, and Connie Wisniewski. An extremely rare and important piece of ladies baseball history, issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
