1955 Was the year of the Dodgers. They finally beat the Yankees in the World Series and got the monkey off their back and the squad that rewarded the patience and loyalty of its fans is now revered as one of the most popular of all time! The offered photograph shows Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Jackie Robinson as they chat it up before the start of game number two and Yogi is showing Jackie how he tagged him out at home during one of the most famous plays in Robinson's career, his steal of home plate against the Yankees in game one! Robinson seems to be enjoying the banter, probably because he was out but was called safe on the play by umpire Bill Summers. Taken by famous photographer Don Wingfield, this is one of the coolest photos of its kind we have ever seen and it relates to one of the most iconic moments in World Series history! Condition and quality are both outstanding!
