1942 Photograph of the famous baseball player and WWII spy Moe Berg as he goes through his extensive library at his home. A cult-like figure, he was a better intellectual than he was a baseball player but his fame has only grown over the years from his exploits on and off the field. Issued by the Associated Press and with a full paper caption, this is a fine example and one of the few posed photos seeming to accentuate his brain more than baseball abilities.
