Lot Description  

Original 1938 photograph of Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig as he stretches to make a play at Spring Training with the New York Yankees. A spectacular 10/10 that is one of the best images of Gehrig we have ever seen from the era as he stretches to make a play! Photo appears to be original from 1938 but it could be a slightly later re-strike from the 1940's.
