1918 Double weight studio photograph of the actress Mary Miles Minter as she answers some of her fan mail from "boys in the trenches" and poses with some of her studio photographs in the background. At the time this photograph was taken, she was just 16 years old but already one of the top draws in Hollywood. Sexualized at a young age, she would have issues with men her whole life and be involved in a sensational murder in 1922 when the man she professed to love, William Desmond Taylor, was murdered. A high quality image, this photo presents well with some creasing at the corners from editorial use.
