1957 Important photograph of the Boston Celtics celebrating their Eastern Conference championship in the locker room as the looked toward winning their first NBA title a few weeks later. The photo captures the players still in uniform and is highlighted by a rookie named Bill Russell at the upper left. The Celtics are the most storied franchise in basketball history and it all started right here. The photo is mounted to thicker board at an archive but it is absolutely authentic and off the original negative.
