1993 Extremely rare photograph of young Derek Jeter in uniform with the Greensboro Hornets of the South Atlantic League. The photo has been signed by Jeter across the front and is authenticated by PSA. Derek changed his autograph over the years and this is his early example c. 1993-1994 which helps to date the photograph as his signature completely changed in 1996 to the modern style we see today. The age of the signature is important as it relates to the photograph itself as we can pinpoint the production of the photo to "pre-1996" making this a slam dunk for a Vintage 1 under our classification system. Likewise, the Kodak watermark on the back dates the image to 1995 or earlier! This is by far the most important image of Derek Jeter we have ever handled and a true piece of baseball history.
