Large 1927 photograph of a massive ticker tape parade in New York City for trans-Atlantic flyers Richard Byrd and Clarence Chamberlain as they returned to America following their historic flight to France. They were about two months too late as Charles Lindbergh had already accomplished the feat, but this was still a massive deal! A fantastic image that also shows a cool side of New York City and issued by Wide World Photos with a stamp and full paper caption on the back.
