1940 Rare photograph of the set of the film "Swiss Family Robinson" and showing the famous treehouse as well as animals and props along with some of the actors from the film. This is the first film adaptation of the famous novel which was then made more famous in the 1960's when Walt Disney remade the film. A great image issued by RKO and with a full paper caption as well. There is a crease at the lower left and it carries a stamp on the back that identifies the photographer as Fred Hendrickson
