1928 Large two-part photograph of four major motion picture stars and how they were going to sound in new "Talking Pictures" with sound wave representations of phrases they said. A fantastic piece of Hollywood history that was issued just as the buzz around "talkies" was reaching a fever pitch. The photo was originally one large image but was separated by a newspaper archive (could be reattached) and it includes John Gilbert, Norma Shearer, Lon Chaney, and Greta Garbo. A double weight image with a full paper caption, this is an incredible and rare piece of Hollywood history that we have never seen before.
