1973 Important and beautiful two photo set by Caufield and Shook (the official photographers of the Kentucky Derby) and showing the famous race horse "Secretariat" busting out of the starting gates. Few Derby's have the mystique of this one as "Secretariat" was set to become one of the greatest sports stories of all time. The photo on the bottom has the credit from the photographer on the lower right and it presents as a two-photo set, glued to linen backing and with a piece of tape at the center to hold the two images together. This set was presented to the track superintendent at Churchill Downs in 1973 (Thurman Pangburn) and offered here for the first time ever! An incredible two photo set that each would get a Type 1 from PSA.
