1917 Large photograph of early American track sensation Joie Ray of Chicago as he posed in uniform. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is his earliest and best we have ever seen. The photo has some creasing and pinholes from editorial use but it looks pretty good despite the flaws. Offered here for the first time ever, fresh out of a newspaper archive.
